On white paper. Like this one. The lines of the geese are are clearly visible. Good contrast between the black and white.
On orange sugar paper. Not so keen on this one. Geese don't stand out from the background so well. Perhaps the poorer quality of the sugar paper doesn't help.
On spotty blue paper. This looks quite cold and wintry.
On spotty yellow paper. Has a summer feel to this one. Like this one best of all and perhaps the most successful. The geese stand out well against the yellow background.
On to a natural calico bag. This worked very well. Would like to also try printing onto a T shirt but would need a waterproof printing ink.

Well done. These are lovely and you have captured movement in the water very successfully. Are you happy with the outcomes?
ReplyDeleteWhich of these samples do you prefer? I feel it is particularly successful on the white and yellow backgrounds. I have found in the past that linen is quite nice to print on, this can then be stretched on a canvas for a more traditional method of dispay.
Have you got any ideas about how you might incorporate these lino prints into your advertisment?
